About

EARTH REVOLUTION is a song and music picture from the front lines of the Indigenous youth-led environmental movement. Written and performed by Ta’Kaiya Blaney and produced and directed by Robby Romero, EARTH REVOLUTION features children from around the world in a call to action for the rights and protection of Mother Earth and all our relations.

EARTH REVOLUTION premiered at the Conference of Youth in Paris, France, on the eve of the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 11th meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol. The European premiere, prefaced by H.E. Laurent Fabius, French Foreign Minister and President of the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21), was followed by an appeal by Ta’Kaiya Blaney calling for an Earth Revolution.

During COP21, EARTH REVOLUTION was screened at the Rights of Nature Tribunal on 5 December 2015 and won the BEST MUSIC VIDEO AWARD in 2016 at the 44th American Indian Film Festival.

Experiencing the environmental crisis through the eyes and the voices of our children, Ta’Kaiya Blaney’s EARTH REVOLUTION calls for real solutions while offering hope and understanding for a safe, healthy, and sustainable future.
