LAKOTA WÍŊYAŊ
Music by Robby Romero / Lyrics by Robby Romero & Curtis Milk
Hey Lakota wíŋyaŋ
Where did, did ya go
You left me here
On the lonesome road
Come back to me wíŋyaŋ
Come back to me soon
Don’t leave me here
In this empty room
Hey, way ya ha
Hey, way ya ha
Way lo way lo
Hey, way ya ha
Hey, way ya ha
Way lo way lo
Hey, way ya ha
Hey Lakota wíŋyaŋ
Feel the wind blow
Though my broken heart
In night black as coal
Escape me now
Through loves torn seam
There’s a vision I follow
You’re part of that dream
Hey, way ya ha
Hey, way ya ha
Way lo way lo
Hey, way ya ha
Hey, way ya ha
Way lo way lo
Hey, way ya ha
Hey, way ya ha
Way lo way lo
Hey, way ya ha
Lakota woman
Where are you now
Like a storm in the night
You disappeared somehow
Come back to me, winyan
Come back to me soon
No, don’t leave me here
In this empty room
Hey, way ya ha
Hey, way ya ha
Way lo way lo
Hey, way ya ha
Hey, way ya ha
Way lo way lo
Hey, way ya ha
Hey, way ya ha
Way lo way lo
Hey, way ya ha
