POET OF MOTEL 6

At Eco Hill Ranch, situated within the traditional territories of the Apache and other Native Nations, Robby captured some cool footage, some of which is featured in this music picture teaser.

With “what may be some of his best songwriting,” Kinky Friedman’s posthumous release, “Poet of Motel 6,” is scheduled to drop on March 21. Produced by fellow Rolling Thunder Revue alumni David Mansfield, the second track on the album, titled “Hello, Good Morning,” featuring a duet with Willie’s daughter, Amy Nelson, is a collaborative composition between Friedman, country singer-songwriter and Academy Award nominee Ronnie Blakley, and Robby Romero.

You can get the first single now, “See You Down the Highway,” in a pre-release on Apple Music and your favorite music stores and streamers.
